Troy Tulowitzki walloped 32 home runs for Colorado, while Todd Helton, Chris Iannetta, Clint Barmes, Seth Smith, Brad Hawpe and Ian Stewart each swatted 20 or more, too. Troy Tulowitzki accounted for 92 RBI. Todd Helton led all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .325. Jorge De La Rosa topped the team with 16 wins, plus Ubaldo Jimenez and Jason Marquis, too added 15 or more wins, too Ubaldo Jimenez registered a 3.47 earned run average, tops among regularly-used pitchers.

Clint Hurdle and Jim Tracy coached the team. The 2009 Colorado Rockies qualified for the playoffs as a wild card.
