Johnny Mize walloped 40 home runs for the team, while Sid Gordon, Whitey Lockman, Bobby Thomson and Walker Cooper each swatted 20 or more as well. Johnny Mize drove in 125 runs. Larry Jansen topped the team with 18 wins, and Sheldon Jones, too added 15 or more wins, too Sheldon Jones recorded a 3.35 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
