Reggie Jackson paced the squad with 29 home runs, while Sal Bando, Joe Rudi and Gene Tenace each walloped 20 or more also. Sal Bando recorded 103 runs batted in. Joe Rudi topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .293. Catfish Hunter recorded 25 wins on the mound for the team, and Vida Blue and Ken Holtzman added 15 or more victories also Catfish Hunter registered a 2.49 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.
