The Senators scored 591 runs and allowed 721 runs. Frank Howard led Washington with 21 home runs, while Woodie Held, Don Lock and Ken McMullen each walloped 20 or more as well. Frank Howard drove in 84 runs and topped all regular hitters by connecting at a .289 clip. Pete Richert paced the team with 15 wins and a team-best 2.60 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
