Lou Boudreau compiled a career batting average of .295 with 68 home runs and 789 RBI in his 1646-game career with the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox. He began playing during the September 9, 1938 season and last took the field during the August 24, 1952 campaign. Boudreau was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956.
