Ernie Lombardi compiled a career batting average of .306 with 190 home runs and 990 RBI in his 1852-game career with the Brooklyn Robins, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves and New York Giants. He began playing during the 1931 season and last took the field during the 1947 campaign. Lombardi was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986.
