Al Lopez compiled a career batting average of .261 with 51 home runs and 652 RBI in his 1950-game career with the Brooklyn Robins, Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Bees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians. He began playing during the 1928 season and last took the field during the 1947 campaign. Lopez was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977.
