Fred Lynn compiled a career batting average of .283 with 306 home runs and 1111 RBI in his 1969-game career with the Boston Red Sox, California Angels, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers and San Diego Padres. He began playing during the September 5, 1974 season and last took the field during the October 3, 1990 campaign. Lynn was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
