Joe Medwick compiled a career batting average of .324 with 205 home runs and 1383 RBI in his 1984-game career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants and Boston Braves. He began playing during the September 2, 1932 season and last took the field during the July 25, 1948 campaign. Medwick was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1948.
