Don Newcombe compiled a career record of 149 wins and 90 losses in his 452-game career with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Redlegs, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians. He began playing during the May 20, 1949 season and last took the field during the October 1, 1960 campaign. Newcombe was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
