Rafael Palmeiro compiled a career batting average of .288 with 569 home runs and 1835 RBI in his 2831-game career with the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles. He began playing during the September 8, 1986 season and last took the field during the August 30, 2005 campaign. Palmeiro was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011.
