Eddie Stanky compiled a career batting average of .268 with 29 home runs and 364 RBI in his 1259-game career with the Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Braves, New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. He began playing during the April 21, 1943 season and last took the field during the July 25, 1953 campaign. Stanky was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1960.
