Coaching Career

Rod Thorn averaged 10.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in his 466-game career with the Baltimore Bullets, Detroit Pistons, Seattle Supersonics and St. Louis Hawks. He began playing during the 1963-64 season and last took the court during the 1970-71 campaign. Thorn was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.
