The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 1985 season with a record of 13 wins and 3 losses for 26 points, finishing first in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 2-0.

The Lions piled up points with 481 points, and the solid defense conceded 297. Roy Dewalt directed the offense, slinging for 4,237 yards. Mervyn Fernandez topped the receiving corps, grabbing 95 passes for 1,727 yards. Jim Sandusky provided receiving help, too.

Keyvan Jenkins carried the ball for a team-leading 964 yards for BC.

The sticky-fingered defense manufactured 67 turnovers. Darnell Clash intercepted 9 opponent throws. Mike Gray led the defensive unit with 13 quarterback sacks, topping a defense credited with 66 sacks.

Don Matthews coached the team. The 1985 BC Lions won the Grey Cup.
