Deonce Whitaker carried the ball for a team-best 560 yards for Montreal, while Eric Lapointe also buoyed the ground attack.

The ball-hawking defense led the way with 52 turnovers. Barron Miles picked off 6 opponent throws. Anwar Stewart and Ed Philion each sacked opposing passers 7 times, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 49 sacks.

Don Matthews coached the team. The 2003 Montreal Alouettes lost in the Grey Cup.
