Gerald Riggs carried the pigskin for a team-best 834 yards for Washington.

The ball-hawking defense manufactured 42 turnovers. A.J. Johnson, Alvin Walton and Brian Davis each picked off 4 opponent throws. Charles Mann topped the defensive unit with 10 quarterback sacks.
