The Avalanche netted 326 goals and allowed 240. Joe Sakic scored 51 goals for Colorado, while Claude Lemieux, Valeri Kamensky and Peter Forsberg each tallied 30 or more, too. Peter Forsberg accounted for 86 assists. Stephane Fiset and Patrick Roy topped the squad with 22 wins each, and Patrick Roy recorded a 2.68 goals against average, pacing qualifying goaltenders.

Marc Crawford coached the team. The 1995-96 Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup.
