The Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League ended the 1982-83 season with a record of 30 wins and 35 losses and 15 ties for 75 points, finishing third in the NHL's Smythe Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-3.

The Canucks scored 303 goals and gave up 309. Darcy Rota netted 42 goals for Vancouver, while Stan Smyl and Thomas Gradin tallied 30 or more also. Thomas Gradin contributed 54 assists. Richard Brodeur topped the squad with 21 wins and a team-best 3.79 goals against average, pacing regular goalies.

Roger Neilson coached the team. The 1982-83 Vancouver Canucks lost in the NHL division semi-finals.
