The Canucks netted 306 goals and conceded 328. Tony Tanti scored 45 goals for Vancouver, and Patrik Sundstrom tallied 30 or more also. Thomas Gradin contributed 57 assists. John Garrett topped the squad with 14 wins, while Richard Brodeur registered a 4.01 goals against average, pacing regularly-used goaltenders.

Roger Neilson and Harry Neale coached the team. The 1983-84 Vancouver Canucks lost in the NHL division semi-finals.
