Morley Kells compiled a record of 53 wins and 34 losses in his coaching career with the Rochester Griffins and Long Island Tomahawks. He began coaching during the 1974 season and last coached during the 1975 campaign. Kells was elected to the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1978.
